Scripture: Romans 8:26-27, James 5:16

Devotional: You were never meant to generate the energy required to walk in God's will on your own. A spiritual life powered entirely by personal effort is like riding a stationary bike, a great deal of work with no forward movement. The Holy Spirit was given precisely for this reason: to help you in your weakness, to pray through you when you do not know what to say, and to keep you moving in alignment with God's will. Stop exhausting yourself trying to figure everything out. Yield to the Spirit, pray with earnestness, and trust that the same power that raised Christ from the dead is actively working in you.

Reflection: Are you relying on your own spiritual energy, or are you genuinely yielding to the Holy Spirit in your daily walk?
