First, Surrender
Reading: Romans 12:1-2
Devotional:
God will not restore what you won't surrender. He's a gentleman who won't force Himself into your life. The reason some restoration processes haven't begun is because we're still holding onto things He's trying to remove: bitterness, unforgiveness, control, or past hurts. Today is your day to present yourself as a living sacrifice. Let go of what they did to you. Release the anger. Surrender the mess. It may not look like much right now, but when you place it in His hands, He begins gathering everything from the four corners of your life. His strong right arm will restore what the enemy stole, heal what you've broken, and complete what He's begun. But first, you must open your hands and let go.
Reflection: What are you holding onto that God is asking you to surrender today? Will you trust Him with it?
