He Himself Will Restore You
Reading: 1 Peter 5:6-11
Devotional:
In the midst of your suffering, God promises something remarkable: "He himself will restore you." Notice the personal nature of this promise. Not a representative, not an angel, but the King of Kings will step into your situation. Your suffering may be enemy-induced, self-inflicted, or God's testing, but the source doesn't change His promise. He sees every trial you're enduring, every tear you've cried, and every wound you carry. Today, remember that suffering is temporary, but His restoration is eternal. The same God who expressed His love for you by sending His Son 2,000 years ago, still cares deeply for you today. His care includes restoring all that your season of suffering has taken from you. What a God!
Reflection: What suffering are you experiencing today? Can you surrender it to the One who promises to restore?
