The Least of These
Reading: Matthew 25:31-46
Devotional: Jesus reveals a stunning truth: how we treat "the least of these" is how we treat Him. The hungry, thirsty, homeless, naked, sick, and imprisoned aren't interruptions to our spiritual journey, they can be part of the journey. When we serve those society overlooks, we encounter Jesus Himself. That homeless person you pass isn't just someone in need; they're a divine appointment. The verdict of divine approval comes not from knowing about Jesus, but from knowing Him intimately enough to recognize His face in the suffering. Today, ask God to open your eyes to "the least of these" in your path. Your faithfulness to them is your faithfulness to Him.
Reflection: Will you be obedient to serve the "least of these" when the opportunity presents itself? Are you looking for Him in these moments?

Yesterday I was out by myself and I was concerned about rolling down window on passenger side of car. I looked at the man and he was very young man. Light changed I had to move . I started shedding tears and I knew I had to go back! I had a bill I normally would not have given a homeless person. I started to just keep driving but that car made a right turn and I went back. I was able to pull into a gas beside where he was standing and rolled window down and put money so he could reach it . I said God bless you! He looked at me and replied “Hod bless you and thank you! He ran back to the corner where he was standing and I saw him pit money in his sock! Well I don’t know what he did with money but at least he saw an old woman who cared and said “God Bless You.”
This is awesome Mrs Pat!! Thank you for your obedience!!
