He Alone
Reading: Psalm 46:1-11, James 4:4-10
Devotional:
When we sing songs like "because of who You are," we're acknowledging that God alone is everything we need. Unlike human relationships where people inevitably fall short, God is complete in every way. He is our refuge, our strength, and our ever-present help in trouble. The psalmist reminds us that even when nations rage and kingdoms fall, God remains our fortress. Today, take inventory of your life. Are you spending more time with worldly distractions than with Him? God doesn't want divided loyalty, He desires to be your everything. When you truly understand the magnitude of who He is for you, it transforms your worship from ritual to relationship. He Alone is sufficient for every need you face. Now, give Him more of you than the world gets! You won't regret it!
Reflection: After taking personal inventory, do you recognize areas you could give God more volume in? Does the world take more of you than you want to give?
