Reading: Revelation 4:1-11

Devotional:
In Revelation 4, John witnesses the heavenly throne room where elders cast their crowns before God. This powerful image reveals a profound truth: the crowns we earn through earthly endurance, suffering, and service ultimately pale in comparison to the King Himself. We often focus on rewards, recognition, or spiritual achievements, but these are merely byproducts of knowing Christ. The 24 elders understood that every crown, every accomplishment, every victory was meaningless compared to worshiping The One who sits on the throne. Today, ask yourself: Is knowing Jesus and giving Him my surrendered worship my ultimate focus, or am I more focused on what I can gain from Him? True worship begins when we recognize that He alone is worthy, not for what He gives us, but for who He is.

Reflection:
What "crowns" (achievements, recognition) am I holding onto that need to be cast at Jesus' feet today?

I worship him as I contemplate the blessing and victory he has given me in my lifetime not anything I may have earned. He has done more for me than I could ever have done for him.
