The Fellowship

Scripture: Jeremiah 29:12-13

Devotional: Seeking God is not a passive activity. The Hebrew word used in Jeremiah 29:13 carries the meaning of actively pursuing God through both prayer and worship. It requires movement, persistence, and wholehearted intention. A half-hearted prayer life produces a half-understood will. But when you give God genuine worth-ship -- recognizing who He is, what He has done, and what He is capable of -- your prayers shift from routine to relationship. A persistent child does not stop asking a loving parent. How much more will your heavenly Father respond to a child who seeks Him with everything they have?

Reflection: Would you describe your current prayer life as wholehearted or routine? What needs to change?
