Here I Am, Available for Heaven's Purpose
Reading: Isaiah 6:8-13
Devotional:
"Whom shall I send? Who will go for us?" God's question echoes through eternity, seeking those who will represent the King of Kings in a broken world. Isaiah had just witnessed a glorious King, supreme majesty, and undefeated power. His response was immediate: "Here I am. Send me."
Why would anyone hesitate to serve a King who never loses? Yet we do. We calculate the cost, measure our inadequacy, and fear the sacrifice. But consider this: you're joining a team that has already won. The call of God comes without expiration—"until" you fulfill His designed purpose for your life. Whether you're called to a burning building, a mission field, a classroom, a boardroom, or your own neighborhood, the call is the same. Someone needs what only you can bring because of who God has made you to be. The question isn't about your ability; it's about your availability. Will you say, "Here I am, Available for Heaven's Purpose"?
Reflection Question: What is God specifically calling you to do right now? What would it look like to respond with "Here I am, send me" today?

“Why would anyone hesitate to serve a King who never loses? Yet we do.” I pray this opens someone eyes because He will never fail us. Good Word Pastor!
Me too! I pray more people will become available for Heaven’s purpose.
I’m Lisha Pharr’s sister and I have enjoyed this series so much. My Bible study group is studying the book Spiritual Disciplines For The Christian Life. This week chapter 6 - Evangelism - why don’t we share our faith?
nIt’s a great chapter but these two lines in this morning’s devotional hit the nail on the head for me.
nIt isn’t about ability but availability.
nSomeone needs what only you can bring because of who God made you to be.
nThank you for that. The ministry of you and Kelly continue to bless my life.
This is great to hear Sharie! Thank you for the encouraging words. God just wants our availability! We pray you continue to enjoy these devos.
This is so POWERFUL! The call of God comes without expiration — until you finish His desired purpose for your life. That will grab you! Lord, USE ME. Help me to be listening, help me to be submissive and obedient. I’m available.
